Submit your registration on-line
At the bottom of each course page there is a link to a registration form. Please complete the form and click SEND. You get a receipt in your window and then a system-generated mail. This is your assurance that you have signed up for the course you wanted. Please note that before you register, you must ensure that your immediate superior has agreed to:
- your participation in the course and
- payment of the invoice
If a fee is mentioned on the course, you need to have information about your unit number and in some cases also business type, project number and analysis number. Ask for this information from your superior or the account manager.
Admission
You will receive a message about admission on expiry of the registration deadline or as soon as the number of participants has reached the limit. On-line registration ensures admission according to the principle ‘first come, first served'.
Waiting list
If the number of applicants is higher than the maximum number of participants, you will receive an email informing you that you are on a waiting list. If somebody cancels their registration, we will contact you to ask if you are still interested. If you wish to participate in the course at a later date, you should register for that course separately. We will consider on an ongoing basis whether a course can be repeated, based on the interest shown and on our course budget.
The course can be cancelled
If the number of registrations is too low, we may have to cancel the course. All those who have signed up for the course will be notified within one week after expiry of the registration deadline.
Cancellation by participant/absence from free courses
Any absence must be registered via email to: puma-info@adm.ku.dk. You can cancel up to one week before the start of the course. If you cancel later than this deadline or fail to show up for the course, you/your unit will be charged DKK 300.
Cancellation by participant of courses subject to a course fee
Any absence must be registered via mail to: puma-info@adm.ku.dk. You can cancel up to one week before the start of the course. If you cancel later than this deadline or fail to show up for the course, you are liable to pay the course fee. Cancellation due to illness has no effect on the deadline for cancellation. However, you or your unit may send another employee in your place.
Special cancellation deadlines
Courses of longer duration, e.g. project management and occupational health and safety training, are subject to longer cancellation deadlines, which are stated on admission. The same conditions apply, i.e. that illness has no effect on the cancellation deadline and that you are liable to pay the fee if you fail to show up. Any absence must be registered via email to: puma-info@adm.ku.dk
Replacement course
We are not in a position to offer you any replacement course irrespective of the reason for your absence. Should you wish to participate in the same course at a later date, you must register separately.
Payment for a PUMA course
When registering for a course, you are required to provide the unit number of the unit paying for your course. You can get the six-digit number from your superior or accounts assistant. Some units also use specific numbers for business type, project number, and analysis number.
Subsequently, you need not worry about payment of the course fee - this will be taken care of by PUMA and the accounts division of your unit. If you need to cancel a course, you must inform PUMA before the cancellation deadline and we will cancel the payment of the course fee.
Information for supervisors and accounts assistants
When a PUMA course is agreed upon, the unit must provide the employee with the six-digit unit number. If the unit requires information in the fields business type, project and/or analysis number, the employee also needs this information for the registration form.
Each month, PUMA withdraws payment for courses held in the previous month. The unit can follow up on payments through account statements from DVH on a monthly basis.
Food and refreshments
3-4 hour courses include morning coffee/tea and breakfast or afternoon coffee/tea and fruit.
All-day courses include morning coffee/tea and breakfast, lunch buffet and afternoon coffee/tea and fruit.
Please contact us before the course if you have any special needs to be considered: puma-info@adm.ku.dk.
Teaching rooms - map
Most PUMA courses by far are held at the premises of the University of Copenhagen at Nørregade 10, 1165 Copenhagen K, where the offices of Central Administration are located. A few courses, such as project management, are held externally.
You will be notified of the location and room number in the email confirming your admission to a course.
